Muraqabatullah (Feeling supervised by Allah)

Once upon a time, there was a teacher who lives with three of his students. However, although all three of his students were studying him, the teachers pay more attention to one of the three disciples. The treatment of the teacher, of course, raises the question in the hearts of the other two students. Finally, they both went to their teachers and asked, "O Master, why do
you pay more attention to him than the teacher's attention to us."
Protests
of two of his students was received by the teacher by calling the third
pupil then gives a bird and a knife to the three, and said, "O my
disciples, slaughter birds with a knife which I have given to you in a
very hidden so that no one sees your deeds. "
The third student was looking for a place that split up according to the instructions of the teacher to slaughter birds. After that, the three returned to the teacher to report the tasks that have been implemented. In
front of the teacher, the first student said, "I have successfully
carried out the orders and I have slaughtered birds in the woods and no
one noticed what I did." While showing birds that have been slaughtered.
Then
the second student reported, "I have also managed to carry out the task
with the slaughter of birds in the top of the mountain and nobody saw
what I did." He also showed the birds that have been slaughtered. But not so with the third student. He has not been slaughtered birds.
In
the presence of the teacher and his two friends, he said, "I can not
carry out the orders of teachers, because wherever I may be, even if
others do not see what I did, but God always see it." Then the teacher was saying to the disciples, who are protesting
today, "Attitude is what makes me more affection and more attention to
him than you two."
The attitude shown by the beloved disciple of the teacher as in the story above called muraqabatullah. Derived from the word raaqaba-yuraaqibu which means watching, observing, and escort. Thus, muraqabatullah means the attitude of someone who always feels
that Allah is always watching and watching his every move, wherever and
whenever.
Muraqabatullah born out of the belief that Allah knows well all human actions are done secretly or openly. There is no human activity in the slightest that escaped from his supervision. Allah
says, "Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and whatsoever is in
the earth. And if you bring forth what is in your minds or conceal it,
Allah will make the calculations you to account for it. So God forgives
anyone wills and punishes whom He wills; and Allah has power over all things. " (Sura 2: 284).
Muraqabatullah attitude should be embedded in the soul of every believer. If so, then all forms of crime, kemungkaran, and falsehood both vertically and horizontally will not happen again. Muraqabatullah will bring every deed we are always oriented virtues.
